I worked in entertainment and advertising in multiple capacities including working at Playwire Media as a Product Manager learning everything about digital advertising + ad tech, and then becoming the Director of Branded Content at The Source Magazine creating branded campaigns in digital, print and experiential, including a 3 day music, culture and arts conference in downtown Brooklyn.
Currently as a Senior Producer at Hook and co-chair of its equity council, I manage multiple creative teams and project budgets to deliver video, animation, DOOH, websites, and graphic design to clients such as Google and Stripe.
I grew up in Ann Arbor MI, raised by university professors who taught me that you should always be learning and evolving. While initially studying Econ at University of Michigan, I took a film elective that snow-balled into a film degree & career as well as juggled video productions with getting a marketing MBA to better understand the creative business. and a fruitful career in different aspects of the content and advertising industry.
After a little bit of time in LA working for talent agencies, I moved to New York and got my creative break producing multiple indie feature films starring actors such as Greta Gerwig and Iggy Pop where after garnering festival acclaim were distributed through Netflix and Amazon.
With the film industry shifting quickly, I took the life lesson of always evolving to heart where the indie film successes opened doors for music videos and branded content. Most notably winning international awards for work on a series of Mountain Dew commercials as well as directing and editing influencer campaigns for major brands starring celebrities such as Big Sean, Jason Derulo and 2Chainz.
